It is important for you to take every opportunity to make memories by doing things that are unique and different. Make an effort to visit a new restaurant every week and try to save up some money so that you can visit a new country once a year or at least every two years. Make it a point to celebrate the big moment in your life and save up small mementos of every special moment in your life so that you can look back on them many years later. These can be anything from your wedding invites to a bottle of wine from the day that your significant other proposed to you.
As your children begin to grow up, make sure that you record each of his or her little milestones in life with baby milestone cards for each achievement. You can create a little memory box in which you can collect all of the souvenirs that you manage to keep from every special moment in your life.
It is important for you to make an effort to do something new and exciting every once in a while. It does not even have to be something expensive. You could go for a family picnic in the park or go for a drive to the beach. The key is to break your everyday monotonous routine because this is the one thing that makes it seem like time is passing you by. In the midst of your busy life, you may not remember to do these things and therefore, it would be useful for you to have a set day, say the last Saturday of every month to do something different and brand new that you have never done before.
